JOVENS, VIOLÊNCIA E A CULTURA DA PAZ NO CONTEXTO ESCOLAR

The young people studied are from the grassroots, Institute of Education of Goiás (IEG), of the afternoon shift and with age group between 14 and 20 years, boys and girls, residents in Goiânia and neighboring municipalities. In order to understand this phenomenon, we have used scholars such as Sposito (2009), Michaud (1989), Zaluar (2004), Abramovay (2005) and Misse (2008) and to obtain a theoretical background on youth (1990), Bonnewitz (2003), Dayrell (2007), Peralva (1997), and Melucci (1990). The proposal of this work was qualitative and, through the questionnaires and interviews, it was possible to apprehend young people's perception of violence in school contexts and the culture of peace, as well as to increase knowledge about youth and violence. The results showed that the phenomenon of violence exists in the school context, but in relation to the Culture of Peace in school, it was noticed that young people are unaware of such projects, although in the Political Project Pedagogical (PPP) prevention and coping with bullying. As for the presence of the Military Police Battalion in the Institute, the young people understand that it is necessary, but it brings embarrassment and they feel watched. The results point out the need to establish mechanisms with the students, in the effective implementation of projects for the construction of a culture of peace based on the autonomy of the subject, and thus respecting their limits.Esta dissertação está inscrita na Linha de Pesquisa Educação, Sociedade e Cultura do Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação da PUC Goiás e dentro do projeto de pesquisa “O estado da arte sobre a juventude na pós-graduação da PUC Goiás e UFG: educação, ciências sociais, psicologia e serviço social (2002-2014)”, e tem como objetivo analisar e compreender a percepção dos jovens, sobre aviolência no contexto escolar e os programas para a cultura da paz.Os jovens pesquisados são de camadas populares, estudantes do Instituto de Educação de Goiás (IEG), do turno vespertino e com faixa etáriaentre 14 e 20 anos, rapazes e moças, residentes em Goiânia e municípios vizinhos. Para a compreensão sobre este fenômeno, recorreu-se à estudiosos sobre o assunto, como: Sposito (2009), Michaud (1989), Zaluar (2004), Abramovay (2005) e Misse (2008) e para obter embasamento teórico sobre a juventude, buscou-se compreender os especialistas da área, tais como: Islas (2009), Reguillo (2007), Bourdieu (1990), Bonnewitz (2003), Dayrell (2007) Peralva (1997) e Melucci (1990). A proposta deste trabalho foi de cunho qualitativo e, através dos questionários e entrevistas, foi possível apreender a percepção dos jovensacerca da violência em contextos escolares e da cultura da paz, bem como ampliou os conhecimentos sobre a juventude e a violência. Os resultados demonstraram que o fenômeno da violência existe no contexto escolar, porém, em relação à Cultura da Paz na escola, percebeu-se que os jovens desconhecem tais projetos, ainda que no Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP), está inserido o Projeto de Políticas de Prevenção e Enfrentamento ao Bullying. Quanto a presença do Batalhão da Policia Militar no Instituto, os jovens compreendem que é necessária, porém traz constrangimento e se sentem vigiados. Os resultados apontam a necessidade decriação de mecanismos junto aos alunos, na implementação efetiva de projetos para a construção de uma cultura da paz pautada na autonomia do sujeito, e respeitando assim seus limites
