Having as its main source of revenues the subsistence cattle raising in the old times. After 1.970, the transformation that occurred in the agriculture by the farming occupation stimulated by priorities which had as its goal to promote the substitution of the agricultural mode of production, up to that time of subsistence, to the implementation of technical plantations which had as goal to spawn the machinery and agricultural products produced in the national industry and to attend the external commodity (soy bean) market. Throughout this paper, there are general reflection about the occupation and its social reflexes in the social context of the Cerrado Region of the Centro Oeste Goiás; and more precisely about the town of Cristalina de Goiás. Among other things, the objective of this research is to emphasize the high index of environment degradation in the water and land in the regions studied and the environmental crises that remains because of the uncountable degradation of these natural resources. As well as to demonstrate that there are extra judicial and judicial agreements, laws, decrees, regulatory norms, etc. which regulates the public administration and the use of the natural resources. It points out which are the legal means of protection in vigor, their applicability and efficiency in the actual moment. It shows that after the introduction of technical knowledge on the plantations, there was a growth in the plantation of soy beans, which had a significant influence in the capacity to sustain the tripe which is represented by economic / politics, culture and environment. Being so, there are flaws in the form of production adopted, once it priories the capitalist interests in disadvantage of the strong pressure on the environment. We have found that the villain in the history is the capitalism which dominates the thinking of the social actors. For in the field of the legal sciences, there are many laws and organisms destined to regulate and administrate the environment, in the administrative and judicial ways. However, the biggest problem found is the inefficiency in the applicability of these norms which put in risk its efficiency. We conclude that the efficiency and applicability of the norms go against the capitalist philosophy. Thus, the best way to revert this situation is the conscientiousness and re education of everyone to articulate in a sustainable way of production which contemplates all the points of the tripe.O trabalho aqui apresentado enfoca a vocação econômica do Centro Oeste brasileiro com destaque para o município de Cristalina de Goiás. Destacando como fonte prioritária de renda a agropecuária utilizada para subsistência em tempos remotos. E a partir de 1970, a transformação ocorrida na agricultura pela ocupação agrícola altamente incentivada por ações prioritárias que visavam promover a substituição no modo de produção agrícola até então de subsistência, pela implementação de lavouras tecnificadas que visavam desovar o maquinário e produtos agropecuários produzidos na industria nacional e atender o mercado externo das commodities (soja). No decorrer da dissertação, são feitas reflexões gerais sobre a ocupação e seus reflexos no contexto social da região do Cerrado/ Centro Oeste/ Goiás; e mais amiúde sobre a Cidade de Cristalina de Goiás. Entre outras coisas, os objetivos desta pesquisa visam destacar o alto índice de degradação ambiental na água e solo das regiões abordadas e a crise ambiental existente em face da degradação incontrolável destes recursos naturais. Assim como, demonstrar que existem acordos extrajudiciais e judiciais, Leis, decretos, normas reguladoras etc., que regulamentam a gestão pública e uso dos recursos naturais. Pontua quais são os meios de proteção legais vigentes, sua aplicabilidade e eficácia na atual conjuntura. Destaca que a partir da tecnificação das lavouras, houve uma intensificação na produção de soja, que influenciou de forma significativa o tripé da sustentabilidade que são representados pelas vertentes da economia/política, cultura e meio ambiente. No entanto, a forma de produção adotada possui falhas, vez que eleva o interesse capitalista em detrimento da forte pressão ocorrida no meio natural. Verificamos, que o vilão da história é o modo de produção vigente que domina a forma de pensar dos atores sociais. Pois no campo da ciência jurídica, existe farto aparato de leis e órgãos destinados à regulamentação e gestão do meio ambiente, tanto na esfera administrativa como na esfera judicial. Porém, o maior problema constatado e a deficiência na aplicabilidade destas normas que comprometem sua eficácia. Concluímos que a eficiência e a aplicabilidade das normas esbarram na filosofia capitalista. Portanto, a melhor fórmula para reverter esta situação é a conscientização/reeducação de todos para articulação de um modo de produção sustentável que contemple todas vertentes do tripé
