O MESTRE - ESCOLA COMO PRECEPTOR PARTICULAR DA CULTURA LETRADA, EM ITABERAÍ-GOIÁS, NAS TRÊS PRIMEIRAS DÉCADAS DO SÉCULO XX

The delimitated period means a relevent moment in Brazilian education, a time that Itaberaí city, as others country districts of Goiás did not count with officially authorized to schools organization, for develepment of the teaching activities. It prevailed, in the domestic place refered period where one only master only taught to his/her students in his/her own house. It was sought the investigation of the historical memory of Itaberaí Goiás education, in the three first decades of the twentieth country, having as focus on school master in spaces terms of his/her teaching performance and of the abilities that assered to him/her to come into play the master function of scholar culture. With this problematic the work was directed to get at the following aims: a) To learn the historical meaning of the school master as a particular teacher of the scholar culture in Itaberaí Goiás, in the three first decades of the twentieth century, b) To reconstitute the found elements that expressed the way of life and the actions that refers to time and the action space of the school master; c) To comprise the house as a teaching and acting space of the school master; d) To apprehend elements that constitutes of the professor practical of the school master in the tripod terms read, write and count. This historical moment of Itaberaí´s education is analised for a look focused on defining feature of the school master identity showing up the professor practical front to the knowing and the transmission modelities. The analysis focus the attention in the instruction profect based on the read, Write and count as clearly identifiable ability of the educative action of the school master. The study shows up social and cultural conditions allowing to know as the knowings were legitimated in the Center of the families and which are the perspectives that these families had in relation to their children s futere. The reseach associates the educational facts to the education history in Itaberaí, that lead the understanding of the social. Cultural conditions of the delimitated time.O presente trabalho resulta de um processo de investigação cujo propósito foi reconstituir mediante utilização, sobretudo, dos procedimentos da história oral, a atuação do mestre-escola como preceptor particular da cultura letrada em Itaberaí-Goiás, nas primeiras décadas do século XX. O período delimitado significa um momento relevante na educação brasileira, uma vez que a cidade de Itaberaí, como outras cidades do interior de Goiás, não contava com organizações escolares autorizadas oficialmente para desenvolvimento das atividades de ensino. Prevalecia, no período referido, espaços domésticos em que um só mestre ensinava aos seus alunos na sua própria casa. Buscou-se investigar a memória da educação em Itaberaí-Goiás, nas três primeiras décadas do século XX, tendo como foco o mestre-escola em termos do espaço de sua atuação docente e das competências que lhe asseguravam exercer a função de mestre da cultura letrada. Com esta problemática o trabalho orientou-se para atingir os seguintes objetivos: a) apreender o sentido histórico do mestre-escola como preceptor particular da cultura letrada em Itaberaí-Goiás, nas três primeiras décadas do século XX; b) reconstituir os elementos fundantes que expressavam o modo de vida e as ações referentes ao tempo e o espaço de atuação do mestre-escola; c) compreender a casa como espaço de moradia e de atuação do mestre-escola; d) apreender elementos constituintes da prática docente do mestre-escola em termos do tripé ler-escrevercontar. Esse momento histórico da educação itaberina é analisado por meio de um olhar centrado nos traços definidores da identidade do mestre-escola, evidenciando a prática docente frente aos saberes transmitidos e as modalidades de transmissão. A análise centra a atenção no projeto de instrução baseado na trilogia ler, escrever e contar como competência claramente identificável da ação educativa do mestreescola. O estudo evidencia condicionamentos sociais e culturais permitindo conhecer como os saberes eram legitimados no interior das famílias e quais as perspectivas que essas famílias tinham em relação ao futuro dos filhos. A pesquisa vincula-se aos fatos educacionais da história da educação em Itaberaí, o que conduziu à compreensão das condições sócio-culturais do tempo delimitado
