This work also intends to study the Religion subject´s reality in Aparecida de Goiânia County in order to verify whether it is or not efficacious, according to its purpose. In Chapter I - Discussion concerning Religion from New LDB an analysis on the Religion´s historiography in Brazil till the New LDB introduction. Chapter II - The Religion subject in the Municipal Public Schools of Aparecida de Goiânia - focuses the religion inGoiás , passing by the legal aspects up to the object of study, which is the reality of the Religion in public schools in the above-mentioned county, and; in this intermission, the educational purposes and the problems faced by the administrative ambit are discussed.. In the last chapter, Chapter III - Religion: a sociological analysis concerning the Moral and Religion - the focused situations in chapters I and II are analysed by the theorists´knowledge.O Ensino Religioso, hoje realidade em todas as escolas públicas brasileiras, é o tema gerador deste trabalho, que tem por fim discutir a intenção dos grupos religiosos ao proporem aos parlamentares a integração da disciplina na grade curricular das escolas públicas e, ainda, estudar a realidade do Ensino Religioso vivida no município de Aparecida de Goiânia para assim constatar se há ou não eficácia, segundo sua proposta. No capítulo I Discussão acerca do Ensino Religioso a partir da Nova LDB é feita uma análise da historicidade do Ensino Religioso no Brasil até a apresentação da nova LDB. O II O Ensino Religioso nas Escolas Públicas Municipais de Aparecida de Goiânia enfoca o Ensino Religioso em Goiás, perpassando pelos aspectos legais até chegar ao objeto de estudo, que é a realidade do Ensino Religioso nas escolas públicas municipais da referida cidade e; nesse intervalo, discutem-se as propostas de ensino e a problemática enfrentada no âmbito administrativo. No III e último capítulo Ensino Religioso: uma Análise Sociológica acerca da Moral e da Religião são analisadas as situações enfocadas nos capítulos I e II à luz dos teóricos
