Includes bibliographical references (page 35)It is argued that it is possible to provide an acceptable criterion for adequacies of theories of logical truth. It is further argues that Strawson???s Theory of Logical truth fails to satisfy at least one of the conditions of minimal adequacy for a theory of logical truth specified by such a criterion because Strawson is unable to provide a satisfactory criterion for the identification of logical truths. The concepts of criterion of adequacy for a theory of logical truth, and satisfactory criterion for the identification of logical truths are explained in detail
