Students who are transitioning from elementary school to middle school often see a drop in their grades. This project consists of a ten week counseling group that enhances the skills necessary to succeed academically. Students will learn organization, effective time management, and goal setting for school work. Students will learn how to be successful in school with emphasis with being on time to class, how to adapt to different teachers, being prepared for each class, being aware of body language, and participating in class and in groups.
