Introdução: A literatura recomenda que a carga das mochilas escolares esteja entre 10 e 15% da massa corporal da criança, para que se minimize a instalação de alterações posturais e mudanças na marcha. O controle postural é componente fundamental para o desenvolvimento de habilidades e funções na criança.
