Thesis (M.A., Education (Early Childhood Education)) -- California State University, Sacramento, 2010.The aim of this study was to explore teachers??? and students??? perceptions of bullying. Surveys assessing teachers' and students' perceptions of bullying were administered at two middle schools in Sacramento, California across 43 seventh grade students and six of their teachers. Results showed a significant difference in teachers??? and students??? perceptions of the Personal Characteristics of Bullies/Victims. Results for males??? and females??? perception of bullying were also presented and discussed. The results are discussed in relation to Bronfenbrenner???s theoretical viewpoint and practical implications for teachers and students.Ed...
