With the rise of juvenile drug courts nationally as an alternative to incarceration, juvenile drug courts need to improve services to be more effective. Involving family members in programs, intervening earlier in a juvenile offender???s life, and providing culturally appropriate services will benefit both the juvenile drug courts, the families they serve, and local communities.
