A High School in Southern California piloted an iPad program for math classes the 2011-2012 school year. In this study the results of this iPad pilot are compared to the results in traditional classes. The two main changes from traditional educational methods at the school were researched. The first change was the ability to provide instant feedback to students on assessments and the ability to retake these tests in a mastery learning environment. The second change was the ability of students to use iPad in the classroom setting to access the internet to supplement the class instruction provided by the teacher.
