Spanish Picture Dictionary: Useful Vocabulary for Beginning Spanish Students

The purpose of this project was to create a simple-to-use resource for beginning \ud Spanish students to support them in their language class by providing: vocabulary \ud organized by theme, grammar concepts presented in simple terms with an array of \ud examples, common sentence structures, and original illustrations to keep the material \ud interesting. The target audience of this project is middle school students learning Spanish \ud as a second language. Vocabulary lists for this project were compiled after reviewing \ud current state adapted texts and surveying students about the vocabulary terms that they \ud considered to be the most relevant for their everyday speaking. The content of this project \ud is highly graphic, and original illustrations are a major focus of the content. This project \ud puts high-frequency vocabulary in the hand of students and can be used alone as a \ud language-learning tool, or as a supplementary text for a beginning Spanish course.Educatio
