The brain sits in warm, moist, dark isolation, processing massive amounts of information and making decisions that maximize your odds of survival. Some of that information comes from experience (memories), some from within the body, but much of it is delivered by sensory systems tuned to events around us. In this course, we will tell the story of those senses, what they respond to, how they communicate with the brain, how the brain interprets these messages, and what perceptions you have as a result
