This is a proposal to encode additions to cuneiform for inclusion in the international character encoding standard Unicode. This block of characters was published in Unicode Standard version 8.0 in June 2015. The characters were used in the Early Dynastic period from 2900-2335 BCE. The writing appears on materials that derive primarily from two sites in southern Iraq
