Medieval and Early Modern Translations of Maimonides' Guide of the Perplexed

Moses Maimonides’ Guide of the Perplexed has certainly been the most influential Jewish philosophical and theological text — from the time of its composition until today. Written around 1190 in Judeo-Arabic, the Guide was soon translated into Hebrew twice, by Samuel Ibn Tibbon and by Yehuda Al-Ḥarizi.
