Under the influence of the factors of the business environment, the enterprise faces many tasks, the most important of which is the restructuring of the management system with a focus on sustainable development. In this regard, it becomes necessary to determine the conditions and assess the degree of sustainable development of the enterprise. The article examines the content of the category "sustainable development of an enterprise", methods for assessing the effectiveness of sustainable development management processes and provides the methodological foundations of the management system for sustainable development of an enterprise
