Angle profiles are amongst the most common structural steel shapes for construction purposes. However, their specific features clearly discern them from other types of common sections, what inevitably leads to the need for the development of specific design provisions. In this paper, extensive numerical and experimental studies have been conducted to propose a complete and duly validated set of design rules for resistance and stability of angle members subjected to individual and combined internal normal forces and moments.
