Hermandad y reescritura del mito de Isis y Osiris en la literatura española contemporánea

The purpose of this article is to analyze the updating of the myth of Isis and Osiris in three works of Contemporary Spanish Literature, «Balada de un día de julio» (1921) by Federico García Lorca, «Pantomima» (1995) by Manuel Mantero and «El hechizo de Iris» (1999) by José María Merino. To carry out this study, concepts such as mytheme from myth criticism or ideal intertext will be used. Beyond the hypertextuality between the first written versions of the myth and these contemporary versions, the study shows how in contemporary texts the value of the siblinghood that sustains the myth of Isis and Osiris endures and is amplified.El propósito de este artículo es analizar la actualización del mito de Isis y Osiris en tres obras de la literatura española contemporánea, «Balada de un día de julio» (1921) de Federico García Lorca, «Pantomima» (1995) de Manuel Mantero y «El hechizo de Iris» (1999) de José María Merino. Para realizar este estudio, me serviré de conceptos como el de mitema procedente de la mitocrítica o el de intertexto ideal. Más allá de la hipertextualidad entre las primeras escrituras del mito y estas versiones contemporáneas, este estudio demuestra que en los textos contemporáneos perdura y se amplifica el valor de la hermandad que sustenta el mito de Isis y Osiris.Title in Web of Science: Brotherhood and rewriting of the myth of Isis and Osiris in contemporary Spanish literature
