In the Qur'an there are so many stories. One of them is the story of the Prophet Moses and Khidlir. Ofcourse many lessons can be taken from the story. But will the story be so well applied to our lives today? Where the Prophet Khidlir's teaching could not be easily understood. So it takes contextualise to the story. As mentioned in Qs.
