As companies are increasingly engaging with M&A and conducting smaller deals than before, there is a growing need for M&A research addressing the in-experienced acquirer and SME perspectives. Smaller organizations with limited experience are compelled to learn to acquire from insufficient experiences, which leads to outcomes where the value of the strategic actions is not realized.
