The role of communicating sustainability and security in a fashion supply chain: Evidence from the supply chain of Pure Waste Textiles Oy

This research analyses sustainability’s possibilities in creating value from security in a fashion supply chain. Case analysis on Pure Waste Textiles Oy broadens the view on fashion supply chain and focuses on findings on the things that make sustainable supply chain management a whole supply chain wide aspect. The research is based on text analysis on Pure Waste’s reports and social media releases on sustainable supply chain management as well as online articles produced by external sources. This qualitative research aims to create insight on the whole fashion industry and its supply chains as well as the future possibilities. As an evaluator I see that there could have been potential to gain even higher grades from many parts of the study by deepening the interpretation of findings and discussion, and by developing theoretical and practical implications even further
