The potential and challenge of LGBTQ+ student groups on Japanese campus

The existence of an LGBTQ+ student group is considered to be a key indicator of a supportive campus environment. However, very little of the existing literature has examined LGBTQ+ student groups’ organization and operation at Japanese universities.
