Bancroftian filariasis in Truk State in Federated State of Micronesia in Micronesia

ミクロネシアのトラック州において3つの島の住民のバンクロフト糸状虫の感染率を調査するため血液検査を行った.その結果249人の内19人が陽性で平均7.9%(男性10%,女性6.4%)であった.グァムをのぞいたミクロネシアの他の地域における最近の糸状虫症の様子についても記載した.Blood survey for Bancroftian filariasis was carried out from the people living at three islands from Truk State in Federated State of Micronesia (FSM). Out of 241 blood films collected, 19 were positive, giving average microfilarial rate of 7.9% (10% in males and 6.4% in females).
