A ray tracing method was proposed to analyze arbitrarily shaped dielectric lens antenna. The lens, made of ABS resin had its flat inner surface and convex outer surface rotationally symmetric with respect to z-axis. The radiation patterns of the dielectric lens antenna fed by conical horn antenna were also presented.
