In the usual boundary element method, some special numerical techniques have been developed in order to get accurate solutions at internal points near a boundary where the singularity of the integral equation becomes very strong. However, such superior devices have not succeeded in completely removing the singularity except the analytical integral scheme which tends to contain bigger errors due to discretization.
