Patirtaan Ngawonggo is a holy ancient bathing site which was built in 944 AD by the Medang Kingdom. The Patirtaan site was previously visited by several tourists. However, the problem faced by the community and tourists is that there are no supporting facilities for the preservation of Javanese sites and culture, which led to the idea of making Tomboan. Tomboan has the character of preserving Patirtaan sites and Javanese culture which can be seen from the concept of entertaining visitors, applying manners (polite), clothing worn, writing place names, using Javanese script, and communicating using Javanese.
