PRAKTIK PROSTITUSI MAHASISWA DI KOTA MALANG

The study aims to discover the process, the groove, and the reasons of the University students who commit to doing prostitution habits in Malang city. In this study, the researchers used the qualitative approach with the descriptive method to conduct the data. The research used the snowball sampling technique to determine the appropriate sample of subjects. Data collection techniques are cared out through observation, interviews, and documentation which will later be annlyzed employing data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study found that there are several phases and stages in process of students prostitution practice in Malang City. The first phase is the carly step which is the transaction stages that the students perform to find clients and the terms of agreements In this step, the perpetrators have attained the transactions and the deals reached out. The final phase is the consumer reviews of the services provided by the agents. The reason causes of students who engage in prostitution are the scrapped of the high condition of lifestyle behavior The extravagant lifestyle adopted by female students makes a trigger condition for someone to immerse and living in the life of prostitution, to be able to fulfill high needs and lifestyles. The next occasion is the influence of social, and friendship environment. This environment greatly affects a person to commit prostitution, some of the students explain that she dare to dive the prostitution because of an invitation from a friend. Other circumstances are family background and economic issues The economic drawbacks of students acquire them to achieve a sustainable income rapidly by doing working in the field of prostitution
