PERFORMA PRODUKSI KAMBING ETAWA RAS SENDURO (SENDURO) JANTAN DI KECAMATAN SENDURO KABUPATEN LUMAJANG

This study aims to determine the production performance of male Etawa Senduro (Senduro) goats by measuring the body of male Senduro goats. This research was conducted on 25 to 30 November 2020 located in Senduro District, Lumajang Regency. The materials used were 60 male Senduro goats and each sample was 20 heads aged ±0-1 years; 20 ± 1 - 3 years ; 20 tails aged 3 years and over. This study uses an exploratory survey method by taking a sample that is stratified random sampling. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study showed that the male Senduro goats had the following physiological measurements: the weight of the male Etawa Senduro race goat in the age group P1 (0-1.5 years) 49.16 kg, the age group P2 (1.5-3 years) 66.47 kg and the P3 age group (3 years > ) 93.96 kg. Body length was 70.15 cm in the P1 age group, 82.59 cm in the P2 age group and 90.63 cm in the P3 age group. The chest width is 23.31 cm in the P1 age group, 27 cm in the P2 age group and 31.31 cm in the P3 age group. The chest circumference was 74.11 cm in the P1 age group, 94.13 cm in the P2 age group and 103.12 cm in the P3 age group. In the chest 30.57 cm in the P1 age group, 39.3 cm in the P2 age group and 45 cm in the P3 age group. Shoulder height was 78.13 cm in the P1 age group, 88.22 cm in the P2 age group and 95.12 cm in the P3 age group. The characteristics of the Senduro goat are that it has a large, long and tall body, smooth white hair, long ears and no horns. From the data above, male Senduro goats are goats with good potential to be developed for goat fattening
