PENGEMBANGAN DESAIN PEMBELAJARAN GEOMETRI BERBASIS VISUAL THINKING DI SMP

The purpose of this study was to develop a valid, practical, and effective visual thinking-based Learning Design on geometry material, especially the flat side space of junior high school. The research subjects used 10 grade VIII students who were randomly selected by the mathematics teacher of Junior High School 1 Pandaan. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) and produces products in the form of visual thinking-based RPP and LKS that are distributed online. This study uses the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instrument was carried out using media validation sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, and test sheets in LKS to improve students’ visual thinking skills. The learning design is developed through the development of lesson plans and worksheets. The results showed that the RPP and LKS were based on visual thinking on geometry material in a .pdf format using 5 ADDIE stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. The lesson plans reach the very valid criteria with a presentation of 83.7% so that the lesson plans are suitable for use in learning mathematics. The LKS reached the criteria of being very valid, practical, and effective to use. Then the RPP and LKS based on visual thinking can be used as a guide for teachers in carrying out learning
