KONDISI KESEJAHTERAAN KARYAWAN DALAM SITUASI PANDEMI COVID-19 (Studi Pada Karyawan Bill Jilbab dan Optik Internasional Mall Olympic Garden Kota Malang)

In the current era of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has resulted in many declines in the economy of the people in Indonesia. Currently, the economic condition in Indonesia itself looks very worrying. The most impactful due to Covid-19 is that many people have been laid off or laid off. With this, it is very clear that people will find it difficult to earn income due to no longer working and unable to meet their daily needs. Many companies have experienced destruction and layoffs due to the impact of Covid-19, especially companies whose products are marketed in malls because malls have to be temporarily closed, and many employees have been laid off, or are not paid and THR is not paid by the company. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Meanwhile, data collection techniques used by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Determination of the subject is based on who knows about the information needed by the researcher. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction models, data presentation, and conclusions. The focus of the research is on the impact of the economic welfare of employees as well as the efforts of employees in overcoming the economic impact of the pandemic. From the results of the research on Employee Welfare Conditions in the Covid-19 Pandemic Situation at the Olympic Garden Mall, there is an impact on the economic welfare experienced by the employees of Bill Hijab and International Optics. The impact of welfare that occurs during the pandemic is on the finances or economy of employees, this affects daily life such as the occurrence of arrears in education costs, to late payments for Home Ownership Loans. Several efforts have been made, such as serving online sales, this is done as an achievement of a prosperous life.
