KAJIAN KEBERHASILAN PELAKSANAAN REHABILITASI HUTAN DAN LAHAN (RHL) TAHUN PELAKSANAAN 2019-2020 DI WILAYAH KERJA BPDAS BRANTAS SAMPEAN (Studi kasus KPH Malang, KPH Pasuruan dan KPH Probolinggo)

Forest and land rehabilitation is one of the strategic efforts and is a priority policy for forestry development, one of the programs for forest and land rehabilitation activities through the National Movement for Forest and Land Rehabilitation (GN-RHL). Forest degradation and forest degradation are the biggest problems to be solved in Indonesia and how the successful implementation of forest and land rehabilitation is known. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) in 2019-2020 in the BPDAS Brantas Sampean area and to analyze the success of forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) in 2019-2020 in the BPDAS Brantas Sampean area. The time of the research was carried out from March to April 2021, in the working area of BPDAS Brantas Sampean, namely Malang Regency, Pasuruan Regency, and Probolinggo Regency. The research subject in this thesis is the percentage of growth of RHL plants. The research method used is descriptive analysis method and stratified sampling. The implementation of forest and land rehabilitation shows different levels of success in each region (KPH Malang, KPH Pasuruan, and KPH Probolinggo), the success rate in each region is categorized as successful with the percent growth in each location in the "good" class. The percentage yield of plant growth in each KPH is an average of 86%. Factors that affect the success rate of plant growth include weather, topography, seedling conditions, location distance, and human factors. The success of this forest and land rehabilitation can be seen from the positive response of the community because they get direct benefits from wages as workers in the field and get non-timber forest products from forest and land rehabilitation management activities
