KETERIKATAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP NILAI-NILAI TRADISI (Studi terhadap Perayaan Sedekah Bumi di Dusun Paras, Desa Turipinggir, Kecamatan Megaluh, Kabupaten Jombang)

“Sedekah Bumi” is one of traditional ritual ceremonies of the Java people that has been inherited by ancestors. The local tradition is still carried out regularly every year at Paras Hamlet, Turipinggir Village, Megaluh Subdistrict, Jombang Regency. There are various values contained at the “sedekah bumi” and believed by the community within today. Those values reflect how people's attachment to the “sedekah bumi” tradition is. This study aims to know people's attachment to traditional values in “sedekah bumi” rituals. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach and analyzed with social construction theory. The results of this study are; there are 3 values formed in the “sedekah bumi” ritual at Paras hamlet, that are religious value, moral value, and cultural value. People's attachment to the values of tradition formed in the “sedekah bumi” ritual at the Paras hamlet can be explained by sociocultural concept. There are 3 basic components in sociocultural concepts: ideological superstructures, social structures, and material infrastructure
