With an increasingly technological society, education needs to be aware of and keep up with these changes. Reflecting on the impacts that technological insertion causes in the educational context is the objective of this work. Through a bibliographical research, of an applied nature, with a qualitative and exploratory approach, the case study used an open questionnaire and observations of teaching practices as data collection instruments. The survey carried out with 14 teachers from the Conquista D’Oeste State School showed why teachers are so resistant to this new reality and how continuing education can help to break this resistance.
