POSYANDU TANGGAP BENCANA DI KELURAHAN JELMU KECAMATAN PELAYANGAN KOTA JAMBI

ABSTRACT Flood disasters, especially in Pelayangan District, Jelmu Village, almost occur every year. This is partly due to geographical factors where the village is located on the river bank. The disaster caused both material and non-material losses. Health problems also often arise after flooding. The majority of flood management in these areas still relies on the local government. Whereas ideally the community should take an active role in overcoming the flood problem that occurs every year. The solution offered to solve the problem in the partner area was to form a disaster management cadre from the youth organization or the Disaster Preparedness Youth Organization. Cadres and the community will be trained in disaster preparedness programs such as water rescue, BHD and P3K training, PHBS and Environmental Health education, and post-disaster disease prevention and disaster mitigation education. With these programs, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the knowledge and abilities of cadres and the community, especially in dealing with flood problems. In addition, cadres and the community can be actively involved in disaster preparedness. So that a number of negative impacts caused by disasters can be minimized. Keywords: Flood, Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response, integrated-health-service-unit   ABSTRAK Bencana banjir khususnya di Kecamatan Pelayangan Kelurahan Jelmu hampir terjadi setiap tahun. Hal ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh faktor geografis di mana lokasi kelurahan tersebut berada di tepi sungai. Bencana tersebut menimbulkan kerugian baik materil maupun non-materiil. Permasalahan kesehatan juga sering muncul pasca terjadinya banjir. Penanganan banjir di daerah tersebut mayoritas masih bertumpu pada pemerintah setempat. Padahal idealnya masyarakat harus turut berperan aktif dalam menanggulangi masalah banjir yang terjadi setiap tahun. Adapun solusi yang ditawakan untuk mengatasi masalah di daerah mitra tersebut adalah dengan membentuk kader penanggulangan bencana yang berasal dari karang taruna atau Karang Taruna Siaga Bencana. Kader dan masyarakat akan dilatih dengan program-program kesiapsiagaan bencana seperti water rescue, pelatihan BHD dan P3K, penyuluhan PHBS dan Kesehatan Lingkungan, dan penyuluhan pencegahan penyakit pasca bencana serta mitigasi bencana. Dengan adanya program-program tersebut diharapkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dari kader dan masyarakat khususnya dalam menangani permasalahan banjir. Selain itu kader dan masyarakat dapat terlibat aktif dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana. Sehingga sejumlah dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh bencana dapat diminimalisir.
