Considered a complex public health problem by the World Health Organization, suicide is one of the main causes of death in most countries, a phenomenon resulting from the interaction among biological, psychological, social and, environmental factors. The purpose of this article was to review national studies addressing the theme of work-related suicide. A systematic review of the Brazilian literature was performed, based on articles published between 2011 and 2020, made available to the academic community in the SciELO, LILACS, PePSIC and MEDLINE databases.
