This research was carried out to obtain empirical evidence on the influence of pen pal electronic mail exchange on students? writing of descriptive text at tenth grade of MA PINK 03 in academic year of 2019/2020. The type of this research is a quantitative research and used quasi-experiment as its design. The population of this research is all the tenth grade students of MA PINK 03 in academic year of 2019/20120. The sampling technique applied purposive sampling and consisted of 71 students. The samples were assigned into two groups, they were class X KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah (WH) as the experimental class and class X KH. Hasyim Asy?ari (HA) as the controlled class.
