In this paper we use the mathematical theory of homogenization to obtain the forces and movements in Bernoulli periodic Boyd beams subjected to perpendicular load to the guideline of the piece. Subsequently, we compare results obtained using the theory of the homogenization with the values calculated in the one-dimensional space using the numerical technique of finite elements. This comparison is presented as a means of validation of the method in the one-dimensional space, as it is known that currently the high accuracy is achieved by using these numerical methods appropriately
