This study is concerned with the topic of employer branding in order to determine whether the intention of an IT graduate to apply for a vacant position within an organisation can be affected by factors like the employer brand and organisational attractiveness, as mediated by social networking sites. The researcher finds that the concept of employer branding is a very important concept that is often overlooked by many employers and as a result, employers find it difficult to find quality graduates to work for them. This can be quite bad to the organisation because the inability to source for quality graduates will result in the organisation lacking talent and thereby affecting its performance badly.
