Background and Aim: Congestive heart failure is one of the most common cardiovascular disorders and is considered as a chronic, progressive and debilitating disorder. Heart failure is a high prevalence disorder in both developed and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ofeducation based on self-efficacy theory on improving self-care behaviors in heart failure patients.Materials and methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 80 patients suffering from heart failure.
