Background and Aim: The liver is the largest organ in the body that plays a major role in metabolism and detoxification of various substances. Fatty liver is known to be the most common cause of cirrhosis and liver cancer. People with fatty liver have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Materials and Methods: This research is a review study with a library method that has been done by examining the documentary sources of traditional medicine, modern medicine, banks and various existing databases.
