نقش‌های بهداشتی انجمن‌ها و روزنامه‌های گیلان عصر مشروطه

Background and Aim: In Iran, during Qajar era, various diseases has spread in Guilan. Different factors such as climate, lack of personal and general hygiene, also shortage of medical equipment, drugs and doctors and other reasons lead to great loss of Guilan’s population. Following constitutional revolution, many associations were established in Guilan and various newspapers were published. The aim of this research is study the role of effective associations and newspapers in sanitation evolutions of Guilan during Mashroote era. Materials and Methods: Using library references via data descriptions and analysis with emphasis on health role of effective associations and their division, also determination and introducing effective newspapers on public health during Mashroote Era in Guilan. This research includes period of time from 1906 AD (first year of Mashroote) to 1911 AD (closure of the second parliament. Findings: 1. Associations had many various performances about health matters in Mashroote Era, i.e. building hospitals and health clinics, establishing Hefz-alsehah and Baladieh Associations, also establishing department of cleaning-up in order to maintain public health; 2. Newspapers played important roles in awareness of public about health matters via publishing medical and health news, fighting against superstitions and Folk beliefs in curing diseases and invite people to use modern medicine. Conclusion: Guilans’ associations could do some Executive functions in health matters due to their popular base and being recognized by central government as the only official reference between people and government. Guilan’s local newspapers in Mashroote era was almost the only available source for public while publishing medical news and related evolutions play a significant role in awareness of Guilans’ people about health matters.   Please cite this article as: Moradi MH, Esmailzadeh A, Sadeghi S. Health role of Associations and Newspapers of Guilan in Mashroote Era. Med Hist J 2018; 10(34): 59-70.زمینه و هدف: در ایران عصر قاجار بیماری‌های مختلفی در سرزمین گیلان رواج داشته است. عوامل مختلفی چون آب و هوا، عدم رعایت بهداشت فردی و عمومی، نبود وسایل پزشکی و دارو، کمبود پزشک و برخی عوامل دیگر باعث تلفات جمعیت زیادی از مردم گیلان می‌شد. هم‌زمان با تحولات عصر مشروطه، در گیلان تعداد زیادی انجمن تشکیل شد و روزنامه‌های مختلفی به چاپ رسید. هدف پژوهش حاضر، بررسی نقش انجمن‌ها و روزنامه‌های تأثیرگذار در تحولات بهداشتی گیلان در عصر مشروطه می‌باشد. مواد و روش‌ها: استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌ای با روش تحلیل و توصیف داده‌ها و تکیه بر نقش‌های بهداشتی انجمن‌های تأثیرگذار و تقسیم‌بندی آن‌ها، شناسایی و معرفی روزنامه‌های تأثیرگذار در بهداشت و سلامت مردم گیلان عصر مشروطه می‌باشد. این مطالعه مقطعی شامل دوره مشروطه از 1906 میلادی نخستین سال مشروطه تا 1911 میلادی، بسته‌شدن مجلس دوم را شامل می‌شود. یافته‌ها: 1ـ انجمن‌ها در خصوص مسائل بهداشتی در عصر مشروطه، عملکردهای مختلفی چون تأسیس بیمارستان‌ها و مراکز بهداشتی، تأسیس انجمن حفظ‌الصحه، ایجاد انجمن بلدیه و تأسیس اداره تنظیفات جهت برقراری بهداشت عمومی در شهرها داشتند؛ 2ـ روزنامه‌ها در آگاهی‌بخشی مردم در امور بهداشتی از طریق درج اخبار پزشکی و بهداشتی و مقابله با خرافات و باورهای عامیانه در درمان بیماری‌ها و دعوت از مردم جهت استقبال از پزشکی نوین نقش به سزایی داشتند. نتیجه‌گیری: می‌توان گفت که انجمن‌های گیلان به جهت پایگاه مردمی خود و رسمیت‌یافتن برخی از آنان توسط حکومت مرکزی که به عنوان تنها مرجع رسمی بین مردم و حکومت مرکزی محسوب می‌شدند، توانستند کارکردهای اجرایی در امور بهداشتی منطقه گیلان ایفا نمایند. روزنامه‌های محلی گیلان عصر مشروطه نیز تقریباً به عنوان تنها منبع قابل دسترس عوام با درج اخبار پزشکی و تحولات مربوطه به آن نقش به سزایی در آگاهی‌بخشی مردم گیلان در امور بهداشتی داشتند
