Objective: Febrile seizure is the most common seizure disorder in childhood and a common cause of hospitalization in children’s hospitals. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of febrile seizures in children in Zahedan.Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 600 children under 7 were examined for positive history of febrile seizure in 2014. The cluster sampling method was used, information was collected using a questionnaire, and data was expressed using descriptive- analytical tests.Results: The mean age of the children was 2.7±1.8 years.
