Multi Slice Computed Tomography (MSCT) examination of the thorax has an important role in establishing the diagnosis, but the radiation dose that produced is too high. Iterative Reconstruction(IR) is coming up as a potential alternative that can reduce the radiation dose in thorax MSCT. There are difference in the results between examinations using the IR algorithm and examinations that do not use the IR algorithm where the IR algorithm is able to maintain good image quality even though it is carried out using a low exposure factor.
