This sequence is great for evaluating nerves and fluids in the brain. Using 3D BFFE on brain MRI often shows motion artifacts caused by long scanning times. One method for reducing long acquisition with SENSE, because it can shorten time by half, but can reduce the value of the signal in the image. Reduction in SNR and CNR occurs if the r-factor used is too large, while the scanning time will increase.
