PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN RADIOGRAFI KNEE JOINT DENGAN KASUS MEDIAL PATELLA SUBLUXATION

Radiography examination procedure of knee joint in medial patella subluxation cases according to Bontrager 2018) uses AP projections, lateral, and sunrise. Meanwhile according to Bollier and Mc.Carthy (2015), standard radiographic examination in knee joint diagnosed medial patella subluxation using AP weight-bearing projections ,lateral, notch view and merchant view. The purpose of this paper is to explain the procedure of knee joint radiographic examination on case of Medial Patella Subluxation based on theoretical studies. This type of research is descriptive research with a library research approach, which is collecting data or scientific papers related to research objects or collecting data that is literature or study carried out to solve a problem that is basically based on critical and in-depth study of relevant library materials. The data collection method uses documentation and study literature. Conclusions from this paper show that the projection of knee joint radiographic examination in cases of medial patella subluxation is the AP weight-bearing, lateral, and sunrise/axial view. In the axial projection, it is better to use the merchant method which aims to see the patellofemoral joint gap so that it can make a diagnosis
