Alevis in Turkey: human-geographic analysis

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na komplexní analýzu alevitské menšiny žijící v Turecku. V práci jsou popsány prostorové politicko-historické souvislosti alevismu od doby vzniku islámu až po současnost, teoretické vymezení menšin a víra a praxe alevitů. K práci jsou vytvořeny dvě mapy s rozmístěním alevitské populace a s počtem domů cemevi v provinciích Turecka.This bachelor thesis focuses on a complex analysis of the Alevi minority living in Turkey. It describes the spatial politico-historical context of alevism since the rise of Islam to the present. It also covers the theoretical definition of minorities, and the faith and practice of the Alevi community. There are two maps included which show the deployment of the Alevi population and the number of Cemevi in the provinces of Turkey
