Because of its extreme resistance can serve as an excellent isolation and building materials. Most of pure geopolymer has low flexural strength, but from previous studies it is known that can be used continuous reinforcements (carbon, glass or basalt fibers) in these materials. These reinforcements have a high influence on the stiffness and static properties, thereby increasing mechanical strength of composites based on geopolymer matrix.
