katedra: KSS; přílohy: 1 CD ROM; rozsah: 48 s., 26 s. přílohThis bachelor thesis focused on the issue of the needs of seniors of the Jewish Community Liberec, based on the assumption that holocaust survivors have reduced mobility, impaired memory and orientation, and demonstrates the need for assistance when performing personal hygiene. Its goal was to map the social and medical needs of seniors of the Jewish Community Liberec. The established goal of the thesis has been achieved. The thesis was comprised of two pivotal areas. This involved a theoretical section, which aided in mapping, and the presentation of expert sources describing the issue of seniors who survived the Holocaust. The practical section, with the help of a questionnaire, determined the number and spectrum of the social and medical needs of seniors of the Jewish Community Liberec. The complete sample totalled 30 respondents. Using the questionnaire examination, basic information was determined regarding the needs of Jewish seniors. The results showed that the respondents do not suffer from impaired memory or orientation, but have impaired mobility and a growing number of respondents need help when performing personal hygiene. The background information acquired was used for creating a system to determine the needs of Jewish seniors to enable them to live as long as possible in a home environment with support of their independence in all areas of social life. For the greatest benefit of the thesis from the standpoint of resolved issues, it was possible to consider registering the Jewish Community for social services providers.Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou potřeb seniorů Židovské obce Liberec a vycházela z předpokladů, že přeživší holocaustu mají sníženou pohyblivost, zhoršenou paměť a orientaci a vykazují potřebu pomoci při hygieně. Jejím cílem bylo zmapování sociálních a zdravotních potřeb seniorů Židovské obce Liberec. Stanoveného cílu práce bylo dosaženo. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů popisovala problematiku seniorů přeživších holocaust. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí dotazníků počet a spektrum sociálních a zdravotních potřeb seniorů Židovské obce Liberec. Úplný vzorek činil 30 respondentů. Dotazníkovým šetřením byly zjištěny základní informace o potřebách židovských seniorů. Výsledky ukazovaly, že respondenti netrpí zhoršenou pamětí a orientací, ale mají zhoršenou mobilitu a vzrůstá počet respondentů, kteří potřebují pomoc při hygieně. Získané podklady byly použity pro vytvoření systému zajištění potřeb židovských seniorů, aby jim byl umožněn co nejdelší pobyt v domácím prostředí s podporou jejich samostatnosti ve všech oblastech sociálního života. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat zaregistrování Židovské obce coby poskytovatele sociálních služeb
