Analyse of the structural funds allocation in the Czech Republic during the period of 2000-2007

There is described the development of Economic and Social Cohesion Policy and compared in two period of programming in 2004-2006 and 2007-2013. First of all, the aims and operating programmes of these two periods are confronted there. The main objective is to record the development of Czech Republic regional policy both before and after joining the European Union. Tha analyse evaluates how successful the Czech Republic was in withdrawing of resources allocated from the European budget for the period 2004-2006, and to point out the reasons of my findings and to suggest the solutions that would lead to improvement of total process of withdrawing.Diplomová práce se zabývá strukturálními fondy EU. Popisuje vývoj politiky hospodářské a sociální soudržnosti. Srovnává regionální politiku ve dvouch po sobě následujících programovacích obdobích 2000-2006 a 2007-2013 a to především cíle a operační programy.Zachycuje vývoj regionální politiky v ČR jak před, tak i po vstupu do EU. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit do jaké míry byla Česká republika schopna využít finanční prostředky, které jí byly přiděleny z rozpočtu EU na programovací období 2004-2006, zjistit příčiny zjištěných výsledků a navrhnout řešení, která by vedla ke zlepšení celkového procesu čerpání
