Caption: "Mickey Covington, 33, of Cleburne, Tex., is escorted to police headquarters in Fort Worth where police say he admitted the November 1959 slaying of J. Homer Morrison, Fort Worth druggist, during an attempted holdup. Covington, described as a former mental patient told police he later allowed a freight train to run over his right arm to punish himself for the crime. He quoted a passage from the bible in explaining the self-mangling.
