Early Badenian (Middle Miocene) Muricidae material that was collected at three SW Romanian sites (Coşteiu de Sus, Lăpugiu de Sus, Nemeşeşti), and stored in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, is revisited. Fifty-one species are recorded and thirty three illustrated. A new species, Ocinebrina landaui n. sp. is designated. With 78 figures
